From cinema, to theatre, to ballet and live music, the Palais Theatre has been entertaining audiences and instilling memories in the hearts of visitors since its construction in 1927. The Palais continues to thrive today as a popular live music venue for both International and local Aussie music acts.
Designed by prominent theatre and cinema architect, Henry E. White, the highly visible side and rear facades of the building have minimal decoration, placing emphasis on the front facade. This limited edition print is sketched in a realistic style that captures the details of the iconic front facade and 'Palais Theatre' sign towering over the lower esplanade of St Kilda.
