Carlton Hotel
The facade of the Carlton Hotel stands proud overlooking Melbourne’s Bourke Street. Reconstructed in 1936, the building has been historically significant as a community gathering place since it's life as a Hotel in the 1930s; and continues this significance today as the home of the popular Carlton Club bar and restaurant enjoyed by many. This illustration was sketched in a realistic style that captures the small details of buildings that often go unnoticed.
