Yorkshire Brew Tower
As new micro-breweries pop up over the city, a reminder of a thriving brewing scene from the 1870s remains in the skyline of Collingwood. Once the tallest building in Melbourne, the Yorkshire Brew Tower is now part of a popular inner city residential development.
With an artful display of polychrome brickwork and impressive mansard roof (once graffiti-clad, but cleaned up since the redevelopment), the site was heritage listed in the 1990s.
